About The Southern Association of Tea Businesses

The Southern Association of Tea Businesses, Inc. was established in 1998 as a non-profit professional organization for people involved in the world of tea. Since our inception, we have been a force in the tea industry.  Each member is unique in their participation, yet all share the same goal or working together to achieve extraordinary success.

Although our memberships spans across nine states, we still maintain the warmth and camaraderie that is so much a part of our character.

Mission Statement:

  • Provide a forum where owners and mangers of tea businesses can discuss issues and provide mutual support.
  • Be a force in the tea industry setting the standard for ethical business practice.
  • Educate the public on the joys of taking tea.

Statement of Purpose:

We succeed by helping each other. Our strength comes from the sharing of character, skills and talents. Teamwork helps ordinary people achieve

extraordinary results.

Officers and Directors of the SATB, Inc. are volunteers elected to serve a 2-year term. Officers do not receive monetary compensation for their service.
